Are you over 70 years old? You shouldn't be paying rates tax! This product will apply for your pensioners rebate at council.

The City will provide 100% rebate to pensioners age 70 and above, irrespective of income, up to a specified amount prescribed by the applicable municipality.
Pensioner criteria:
You are the owner of the property in respect of which the rates are charged;
You live on the property
You must be at least 70 years old.
